  • Are we still open during the COVID-19 Pandemic? How are we taking protecting our employees and our clients?
    We are open our normal business hours during the Coronavirus Pandemic! COVID-19: ALL OF OUR NOTARIES HAVE BEEN PRE-SCREENED AND FOLLOWING ALL CBC RECOMMENDATIONS FOR PERSONAL SANITATION. As a precautionary health measure against the COVID-19n outbreak and in correspondence with the WHO (World Health Organization). MYP Business Solutions LLC will be implementing the following changes until further notice. Upon Arrival Client(s) and Notary will refrain from any physical contact such as handshakes while keeping a healthy 6 ft. distance at all times. Notary will be wearing mask and gloves while supplies last for their protection. Both Notary and Client(s) will be required to use hand sanitizer at the start and finish of each signing. Hand sanitizer will be made available by notary until supply last. Otherwise handwashing will be required. We ask that any Client showing or experiencing any symptoms of a cold or who feels has been exposed to the COVID-19n to please reschedule. Symptoms include but are not limited to coughing, fever, and body aches. All bags and notarial equipment will be disinfected before and after every signing.   • Why am I being Charged More Than I Was Quoted For Your Services?
    Final fees may be higher than quoted if the notary discovers more notarizations are needed that what was originally requested. 2. More services were requested during the visit than what was originally requested
  • Why is a convenience fee?
    A convenience fee is a charge that MYP charges to dispatch a notary to your location.
  • How Soon Can You Get Here? How Much Advanced Notice Is Required?
    In order to better serve you we request that all appointments be scheduled at least 24 hours in advance. We will, however, make every attempt to fulfill “same-day”, “last minute” and “emergency” requests.
  • What Is A Notary Public?

  • Why Are Documents Notarized?
    A Notary Public’s main purpose is to deter fraud. As an impartial witness, the Notary ensures that the signers of documents are who they say they are and not impostors. The Notary also makes sure that signers have entered into agreements knowingly and willingly.
  • What Are Your Terms And Policies?
    At least 24 hours advanced notice required whenever possible. Advanced payment required for same-day appointments. No Cancellations/Refunds for same-day appointments. Signings in remote areas and under extreme circumstances (rush jobs, long waiting, inclement weather, long distances, etc…) may result in additional fees. Errors & Omissions caused by our notaries will be corrected at free of charge. Cancellations should be made via email or phone no later than 4 hours prior to the scheduled appointment. This does not apply to same-day appointments.

  • What is a Notary Signing Agent?
    A Notary signing agent is a Notary who is specially trained to handle and notarize loan documents. For lenders, Notary signing agents are the critical final link to complete the loan. A Notary signing agent is hired as an independent contractor to ensure that real estate loan documents are executed by the borrower, notarized, and returned for processing on time. Completing this critical part of the loan process enables the loan to be funded.
  • Are our notaries and Signing Agents subject to background checks?
    Yes, in order to guard borrowers' private financial information, the mortgage industry requires all persons involved in the lending process to undergo background screenings. Lenders in turn instruct title services companies to ensure that everyone with access to mortgage documents has been screened. This requirement applies to everyone handling loan documents including Notaries who act as signing agents. Our notaries and signing agents must submit to yearly background checks in order to work with MYP Business Solutions LLC.
